I’m sitting and writing my first ever blog post in Torquay, Victoria. It’s currently 25 degrees and AFL Grand Final Day. We took advantage of the long weekend and drove down to Torquay to be by the beach. As I sit here waiting for the game to start I’m thinking about being overseas. For as long as I can remember I’ve always wanted to travel. If you ask my mum she will tell you the same. When I was younger I always thought I would finish school, pack my bags and go away for a while. As I think back I don’t know if I was naïve or ambitious. All I do know is I do love to travel and I may not have packed my bags and left at 18, but I’m going to do it at 23 years old.
